Dierks Bentley Planning Nashville's "Miles & Music For Kids"
Dierks Bentley is prepping for his upcoming "Miles & Music For Kids" event in Nashville. The singer says he really enjoys all aspects of his annual charity motorcycle ride and concert, but he admits it's not easy to come up with a definitive list of participants. Those who have committed to join Bentley for the fall fundraiser include Miranda Lambert and Jerrod Niemann, while other artists will be announced in the coming weeks. This will be Bentley's fifth "Miles & Music For Kids" event in Nashville. The one-hour celebrity motorcycle ride will start at the Harley-Davidson in Columbia, Tennessee and conclude in downtown Nashville with a star-studded concert at Riverfront Park. Money raised will go to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Bentley's 5th annual Nashville "Miles & Music For Kids" is set for October 17th. Tickets go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.
The Nashville event will be Bentley's fourth "Miles & Music For Kids" benefit of 2010. After his 4th annual Nashville fundraiser last October he began staging the charity ride and concert in other cities. He started in his hometown of Phoenix, where he held the event last November. Earlier this year the country star brought the benefit to Dallas and Atlanta. Next month Bentley will host his "Miles & Music For Kids" ride and concert in the Seattle area.
