Former NFL Coach Jimmy Johnson Joins "Survivor: Nicaragua" Cast

The coach who helped the Dallas Cowboys to two Super Bowl wins is putting on his game face for reality TV. Sports broadcaster and former NFL coach Jimmy Johnson is among the contestants participating in the 21st season of CBS' long running reality competition, "Survivor," set in Nicaragua this go around. The 67-year-old Johnson will be a member of the Espada tribe, a group made of individuals over the age of 40. The Espada Tribe will go head-to-head with the younger, 30 and under, La Flor Tribe which includes a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and an amputee triathlete. There are some changes to this new season of "Survivor," including fewer physical challenges. A new game piece called the Medallion of Power will also give the tribe that possesses it an advantage in the contests. But the biggest "Survivor" change is the show's new time slot. It moves to Wednesday nights starting on September 15th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
