The daytime airwaves are getting another show featuring a diverse group of women speaking their minds. CBS has confirmed a premiere date for "The Talk." The series -- which features a "View"-like panel of female hosts -- will debut on October 18th, 2010. The show will air on weekdays from two p.m. to three p.m. On board to "talk" it out are TV journalist Julie Chen; actresses Sara Gilbert, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini, and Marissa Jaret Winokur; and rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne. "The Talk" has promoted itself as a look at the issues of the day from the perspective of mothers.If successful, "The Talk" may have a long road in front of it. "The View" first went on the air in 1997. Since its first season, only Joy Behar and Barbara Walters have remained in place on the hosts' panel. Other women who've worked on the show and since left include Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, Meredith Vieira, Rosie O'Donnell, and Star Jones.
