Pennsylvania Man Jailed For Barking At Police Dog

A Pennsylvania resident is now out of jail after harassing a member of the police force. ThePittsburghChannel.com is reporting that Norris Daniels was arrested on January 27th for barking at a police dog. The 57-year-old was taunting the canine as it sat in the back of a police cruiser. Officer Brian Vitale told Daniels to stop several times, and eventually placed him in handcuffs when he wouldn't comply. Daniels was originally charged with illegal taunting of a police animal, but last Friday he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to two to 12 months in jail, but was immediately paroled because he had been behind bars since his arrest.
