Brittany Kraft Wins 25K At Rock Paper Scissor College Championship

Eastern Illinois University student Brittany Kraft didn't have your typical spring break experience this year. The Elementary Education major inflated her pockets with 25-thousand dollars by winning the Second Annual Rock Paper Scissor College Championship at MTV's Spring Break in Acapulco, Mexico. Kraft says she was first introduced to rock, paper, scissors as a child, but admits that her spring break trip was the first time she had ever played the game on a competitive level. She states, quote, "I've definitely played since I was in grade school, but I never really took it to sport." Brittany Kraft describes rock, paper, scissors as a "mind game," explaining that she was able to win by anticipating what object her opponent was going to throw.

Following her win, Kraft says she tried to keep her title a secret. Unfortunately, word of her success eventually spread and people are now challenging her on a regular basis to a game of rock, paper, scissors. Kraft doesn't mind the extra attention, however, as the 25-thousand dollars will pay off her student loans and give her a little extra savings in the bank.
