The first round of voting is now under way for the 2010 CMT Music Awards. Ten clips are vying for Video of the Year, including Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," Kenny Chesney's "Out Last Night," Toby Keith's "American Ride," and Brad Paisley's "Welcome to the Future." Clips from Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, the Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Miranda Lambert are also in the running for the event's top prize. There are eight contenders in all the other categories. Fans will pare down the hopefuls with an online vote. The four finalists in all categories except Video of the Year will be revealed on May 11th, and a new round of voting will begin to pick the winners. However, with Video of the Year, the four finalists will be revealed at the start of the awards ceremony. The 2010 CMT Music Awards are scheduled to air live on CMT on June 9th. Votes can be cast at CMT.com.
