The members of Gloriana are excited to be nominees for the 2010 CMT Music Awards. The band is in the running for Group Video of the Year with "How Far Do You Wanna Go?" Gloriana's Rachel Reinert says she and her bandmates are grateful for nod, noting, quote, "This has been an incredible year for us thanks to the support from everyone at CMT, country radio, and especially our fans." The band's Tom Gossin adds, quote, "We are fortunate to be able to do something that we all love everyday, make music, so getting these nominations is such an honor." The first round of balloting is currently under way in the fan-voted CMT Music Awards, at CMT.com. The eight contenders in each category except Video of the Year will be cut in half. Each group of four finalists will be announced on May 11th to launch the next round of voting to determine the winner. The 2010 CMT Music Awards will air on CMT on June 9th.Gloriana has done well with fan-voted events in recent weeks. The band was just named Academy of Country Music's Top New Vocal Group of the Year to earn a nomination for the ACM's Top New Artist of the Year. Balloting in that event is currently underway at VoteACM.com. The 45th annual ACM Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Las Vegas and air on CBS on April 18th.
