Firefighter Arrested For Setting Off Fire Alarm

A Florida firefighter's drunken mistake has landed him in hot water. According to TCPalm.com, Charles Robert Sunser was arrested last Saturday for pulling a fire alarm during his supervisor's birthday celebration in February. The Riviera Beach firefighter reportedly got "really drunk" at The Element Lounge and decided to activate the building's alarm. Following the incident, Sunser told Port St. Lucie police, quote, "I did something stupid, I'm very drunk and didn't mean to cause trouble." The Element Lounge's owner decided to press charges noting the "malicious nature" of the incident and the lost revenue from the "disruption and evacuation." The 31-year-old is now facing a misdemeanor making false report charge.
