AS BASEBALL SEASON STARTS, YANKEES FAVORED TO WIN WORLD SERIES

The 2010 Major League Baseball season is just getting under way this week, but some fans are already predicting who'll win the World Series. According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, the New York Yankees are the favorite for the Fall Classic, with 29-percent saying they think the team will see back-to-back titles and take the championship again this year. By comparison, just 17-percent feel the Boston Red Sox will go all the way, eleven-percent believe it's the St. Louis Cardinals' year, and seven-percent foresee the Philadelphia Phillies winning it all. Just over 20-percent want the Yankees to win the 2010 World Series, while 15-percent of the fans would like to see the Red Sox take the title and 12-percent would prefer the Cardinals win the championship. Six-percent are pulling for the Minnesota Twins, and five-percent are hoping the Atlanta Braves go all the way.
