Ohio Men Interrupt Fight Between Moose, Wolf

A trip into the Alaskan wilderness provided two Ohio residents with a near death experience last week. According to the "Anchorage Daily News," Sean Evans and Josh Clark were nearly killed by a moose after they came upon the animal fighting a wolf. The two were snowshoeing to a cabin last Thursday when they encountered the two animals. The wolf eventually fled the scene, but the moose hung around, forcing Clark to climb a nearby tree and Evans to hide behind a fallen tree. Josh Clark recalls, quote, "Anytime one of us moved, it kind of charged and paused." They were eventually able to call Alaska Wildlife Troopers who were able to put the moose down.
