Man Finds $10,000 On The Street

(Bellows Falls, VT) -- A very honest man lives in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Ernest Chamberlin went to police with his discovery, a fanny pack with ten-thousand dollars in cash. Chamberlin told officers he found the pack on the ground as he was walking downtown, and didn't see any ID in it, so he turned it in. About an hour later, police say a very nervous and upset man came in to report he'd lost his tax money. His insurance card was in the fanny pack, along with the cash. The police chief says Chamberlin could have kept it and remained silent, but he's a hero for doing the right thing.
