Alan Jackson Making TV Appearances To Support New CD

Alan Jackson has a number of TV appearances on the horizon as he promotes his latest album, "Freight Train." The singer kicked off the album's promotion Tuesday in New York, where he also taped an installment of A&E's "Private Sessions." Set to premiere on April 11th, the hour-long show includes a performance and an interview. In addition, Jackson is scheduled to visit NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on April 14th, and the syndicated "Ellen DeGeneres Show" on April 16th. Also on April 16th, Jackson will be honored with the unveiling of his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The country star is also hitting the road in support of his album. Jackson's "Freight Train" tour will begin in Fort Myers, Florida on April 8th.
