The thriller "Shutter Island" continues its run as the top movie in North America. For the second straight week, the Martin Scorsese-directed film held onto its position at number one, earning 22-point-two-million dollars. In second, was the debut of the action-comedy "Cop Out," starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, with 18-point-six million dollars. A remake of the 1973 horror movie "The Crazies" earned 16-point-five million dollars, putting it at number three. Distributors had expected both of those debuts to pull in up to around 15-million dollars. In fourth for the weekend with a take of 14-million dollars was James Cameron's "Avatar," followed by "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" in fifth with nine-point-eight-million dollars.Here are the top ten draws at the North American box office for the three-day weekend beginning February 26:
