Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Raise 70-Thousand For Tishomingo
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are supporting a variety of causes with their music. The singers recently performed a benefit concert in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, with the money earmarked for a number of organizations. The Tishomingo Animal Shelter, The World War Two Veterans Of Tishomingo, The Millborn Fire Department, and the local Band Boosters for Music in the Schools are some of the beneficiaries of the event. It's the second consecutive year the country couple has performed for the community, and for a second year in a row they brought in nearly 70-thousand-dollars with their efforts. Lambert's MuttNation Foundation served as host for the event, which included a cocktail party, dinner, and live and silent auctions as well as the music.
