Shannen Doherty Is "Dancing's" First Eliminated Celebrity This Season

ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" has eliminated Shannen Doherty from competition. The first to leave the show in its tenth season, Doherty said she's more of an actress than a dancer. The one-time "Beverly Hills 90210" star added that it would have been hard to continue competing without her partner, Mark Ballas, who was sidelined by injury after just two dances. In the first minutes of Tuesday's broadcast, there was some high drama. One of the judge's favorites -- actress and model Pamela Anderson -- was shocked to discover she was in the dreaded "bottom two." Meanwhile, the "original moonwalker," former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, was the first celebrity announced as "safe." Voters helped to keep the 80-year-old in competition, despite the fact that Aldrin received the lowest score from the judges. Also breezing through to next week was reality TV mom Kate Gosselin, who's admitted that nerves have made competition difficult for her. Tune in to see how the remaining celebrities fare next Monday when "Dancing With The Stars" airs on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
