Marie Osmond's Teen Son Commits Suicide, Jumps To His Death
The Osmond family is in mourning following the tragic news of the suicide death of singer Marie Osmond's teenage son. Los Angeles police say 18-year-old Michael Blosil leapt to his death Friday night from the downtown apartment building where he lived. According to "Entertainment Tonight," Blosil, who previously entered a rehab facility in 2007, had left a note saying he intended to kill himself. He said he had battled depression that made him feel as if he had no friends. In a statement, Marie Osmond said she and her family were "devastated and in deep shock." Just last Spring she told People.com that Michael seemed to be turning his life around and was looking forward to graduating from high school. In light of the tragic turn of events, Marie's Las Vegas show with brother Donny Osmond was canceled Saturday night. According to People.com, it is not yet known how long the show's hiatus will remain in effect.
