DUI Suspect Falls Asleep At McDonald's Drive-Thru

A Florida man capped off his St. Patrick's Day celebration with a DUI charge. According to the "St. Petersburg Times," Eric Spevack was found asleep behind the wheel at a Spring Hill McDonald's drive-thru early Thursday morning. The restaurant's manager called the police claiming that Spevack had been parked at the speaker box for about half an hour. Authorities found the 26-year-old passed out with his vehicle still in drive. After several sobriety tests, Spevack was taken to the Hernando County Jail where he was found to have a blood-alcohol level of point-one-six-three -- approximately twice the legal limit. Police say the intoxicated motorist was wearing a wrist band from an Irish pub in Tampa.
