Drunken Mom Arrested Trying To Pick Up Daughter At School

A Michigan woman faces felony charges after she allegedly tried to pick up her daughter from school while drunk. Officials with Ferndale High School alerted police when the woman's daughter refused to get into the car with her intoxicated mom. After failing a field sobriety test, police say they searched 53-year-old Bernice Davis's car and found marijuana and prescription anti-depressants in her purse. Davis was driving on a suspended license and has four prior DUI convictions dating back to 1997. Davis was put behind bars on a 56-thousand-dollar bond.
