AAA Picks Best Vehicles For Commuters

The Honda Insight is getting a thumbs up from Triple-A for commuter travel. The motor club has released a list of the best cars for commuters, and says the Insight is reasonably comfortable and is less costly and more fun to drive than other hybrids. The Ford Fusion, Volkswagen Jetta TDI, Hyundai Elantra, Subaru Legacy and Honda Civic were also highlighted as great rides for commuters. Triple-A noted that according to the National Household Travel Survey, the average driver spends more than 40 minutes a day traveling more than 20 miles in the round trip to and from work.
