Facebook Campaign Under Way To Get Reba On "SNL"

Betty White isn't the only veteran star with a Facebook campaign to get her on NBC's "Saturday Night Live." TheBoot.com says a similar effort is also under way encouraging the show to bring Reba McEntire on. McEntire -- who has an established acting career -- would be able to do double-duty on the show and serve as both the host and musical guest. If she gets the nod, Reba would join an elite group of country artists who've taken on both guest roles for the long-running sketch comedy series. Just four stars -- Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Taylor Swift -- have been at the helm and performed on the NBC show. This week "Saturday Night Live is pre-empted for NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics. The show will return on February 27th with Jennifer Lopez hosting. Reba, meanwhile is currently on tour with George Strait and Lee Ann Womack. They'll be performing in Wichita, Kansas Tonight, and visit Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday.
