Brooks & Dunn plan to go out giving. The duo has announced that their "Last Rodeo Tour" finale will be a benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn explain their motivation in a statement, noting, quote, "For several years, we have tossed around ideas for the best way to make a contribution to the Museum. We have a tremendous appreciation for the road that was traveled by the great stars that came before us. Their long nights in station wagons with instruments strapped on the roofs built an industry that allowed us to cruise around in big tour buses. Our last show together will certainly be a historic point in our lives and careers, and we feel it's only right that the proceeds from this concert go to a place where all history in our business is so reverently preserved." The show is being billed as Brooks & Dunn and Friends, with the "friends" yet to be named. The special concert event is set for Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on August 10th.Last August Brooks & Dunn announced that they were bringing their musical partnership to an end this year following one final tour. The Last Rodeo Tour will begin with the duo's appearance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo concert in Houston, Texas on March 20th.
