A Couple Interesting Stories Involving Food

An elderly Florida man wasn't about to let a little car accident prevent him from enjoying breakfast. According to WESH.com, 92-year-old Charles Pierce slammed his car into a restaurant in Port Orange. Following the accident, Pierce reportedly got out of his vehicle and ordered breakfast. Investigators believe that the elderly motorist accidentally hit the gas pedal while he was attempting to park. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. It is estimated that 25-thousand-dollars in damage was done to Biscuits "N" Gravy and More. Following his meal, Pierce was cited for careless driving.

Police in Kansas City are on the lookout for a furious fast-food patron. The "Kansas City Star" reports that on December 27th, an unidentified woman trashed a local McDonald's because she didn't like her hamburger. The suspect demanded she receive her money back, but when employees told her she could only be given a new burger the woman became angry. She allegedly threw a glass water dispenser and a "wet floor" sign, and pushed over three cash registers. The woman's temper tantrum reportedly caused thousands of dollars in damage. Police have since aired the surveillance video of the incident. They have received several credible leads in the case, but have yet to make an arrest.
