Country Music, NASCAR Stars Together For "Sprint Sound & Speed"

Nashville is hosting a collision of country music and NASCAR fans with this weekend's "Sprint Sound & Speed." Hank Williams Jr., Vince Gill, Chris Young, and Jason Michael Carroll are among the country stars slated to take part in the two-day collaborative fan festival, along with Josh Turner, Diamond Rio, Love And Theft, Ashton Shepard, Kate & Kacey, Danny Gokey, and others. They'll join NASCAR greats including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Petty, Kacey Kahne, Kyle Bush, Tony Stewart, and Michael Waltrip, who'll also be on hand for the event. "Sprint Sound & Speed" begins Friday night with a special Grand Ole Opry concert at the Ryman Auditorium featuring Hank Jr., Gill, Young, Carroll, and Gokey, while NASCAR stars will serve as guest announcers. The action continues Saturday as the stars meet up with the fans at photo sessions, autograph signings, and Q-and-A sessions at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
