David Nail Helping Four-Legged Friends

David Nail is among the artists who have signed on for the Stars to the Rescue gala in support of the Animal Rescue Foundation. St. Louis Cardinal's manager Tony LaRussa and his wife established ARF, which is a non-profit agency that saves dogs and cats whose time has run out at public shelters. The organization works to place the pets in need in proper homes. The country newcomer will be joining a number of veteran rockers for the fundraiser. Along with Nail, performers on board for the event include Yes frontman Jon Anderson; former Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine, who's teaming up with singer Larry Braggs as the California Transit Authority; the Doobie Brothers sax player Marc Russo; "Phantom of the Opera" star Tim Martin Gleason; and comic Chas Elstner. Stars to the Rescue 19 will take place Saturday night at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, California.
