Ohio Boy Suspended For Cincinnati Bengals Haircut

A little team pride has landed one Ohio student in some hot water. The "Journal News" reports that Dustin Reader was placed on in-school suspension Monday for showing up to school with a haircut that supported the Cincinnati Bengals. The Garfield Middle School eighth-grader arrived at school with tiger stripes shaved in his head and the letter "B" cut in the back. Officials at the school were not impressed by the Hamilton resident's new haircut, and suspended him for his unusual hairstyle. School officials will not discuss Reader's situation, but his mother says they will continue to allow their son to display his Bengal pride. Tina Wanamaker remarks, quote, "We're not going to fix it. He's still going to school and I'm proud of him for that."
