The man who helped pioneer the reality TV court genre is taking his place among Hollywood's Walk Of Fame stars. Former "People's Court" Judge Joseph A. Wapner received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a star unveiling ceremony on Thursday. Wapner's is the two thousandth-392nd star on the walk of fame. The star unveiling came just three days before the former TV judge's 90th birthday on Sunday, November 15th. Wapner presided over more than 24-hundred episodes of "The People's Court" from its debut in 1981 until the end of its initial run in 1993. From 1995 to 1998 he presided over "Judge Wapner's Animal Court" which ran on the Animal Planet cable channel.Wapner will appear on today's episode of "The People's Court" to preside over a "special case" in honor of his 90th birthday. Judge Marilyn Milian now presides over the syndicated court series.
