Frustrated job seeker takes search to Midtown Memphis streets

Beating the streets has helped a Memphis woman secure a job. Fifty-eight-year-old Denise Caccamisi got the attention of Dr. George Flinn by standing on a corner with a sign that expressed her desire for employment. Flinn, a medical doctor, radio and television station owner and Shelby County Commissioner, saw Caccamisi and had his office manager return to the corner to get her resume. An interview later, the woman was hired as Flinn's personal assistant. Caccamisi starts on Monday.
