Taylor Swift Makes More Chart Waves

Taylor Swift has yet another accomplishment to her credit. Billboard.com says the 19-year-old singer-songwriter's hit "You Belong With Me" logged the most radio airplay in the past week to top the Radio Songs chart. It also earns the distinction of becoming the first country-pop crossover single lead the list since 1990, when it began including data from Nielsen BDS statistics. "You Belong With Me is also on the rise on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It has climbed two spaces since last week, moving up to number four. Swift's song follows the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling," which is spending its 13th week at number one; Jay-Z featuring Rihanna and Kanye West's "Run This Town;" and Jay Sean featuring Lil Wayne's "Down."

Interest in "You Belong With Me" received a boost from her incident with Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards a couple weeks ago. At the event Swift got the nod for Best Female Video with "You Belong With Me," which made her the first country singer ever to win an MTV award.
