George Strait has one more show to play before wrapping up his summer touring schedule. The country superstar and Texas native will be opening another venue in his home state with his inaugural concert at the new Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park. Lee Ann Womack is also on board for the special show at the Austin-area facility Friday night. Womack notes she's looking forward to the show. She tells the "Austin-American Statesman" that whenever she's sharing the bill with Strait, quote, "I'm always right there watching the show." But she cautions fans to not get their hopes up about them singing together during the concert. She explains that they didn't have the chance to meet up before the show to put together a collaborative set.This is the second Texas venue Strait has opened this year. Back in June he was the headliner for the first show at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, and Lee Ann Womack joined him for that show.
