Eric Church Planning Special NASCAR Concert

Eric Church is teaming up with NASCAR for a special homecoming event. The singer is slated to play a concert as part of the pre-race show in advance of the NASCAR Banking 500, taking place next month at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The Granite Falls, North Carolina native admits that growing up in that area makes it "a given" that he'd be a NASCAR fan, noting, quote, "I've been to this very race many times with my dad. To be able to go back and play is a very special homecoming for me." He says he expects it will be a great event, and adds, quote, "I guess the only question to be answered is, who is louder? The guys and their cars or me and the band. I can't wait to find out." Church's homecoming concert at the NASCAR Banking 500 will take place at the Turn 2 Diamond Tower Terrace on October 17th.
