Jason Michael Carroll is looking for a new label

Jason Michael Carroll is looking for a new label. The singer announcement with a series of Twitter posts that he's no longer on Arista the Nashville roster. He tweets, quote, "First of all, I'm so grateful for the opportunity that I've had 2 work with Arista records! Ive learned a lot and made some great friends!," then adds, quote, "Unfortunately, Arista & I have decided to go our seperate ways! They called & said that they would be moving forward without me!"

But Carroll says that while he doesn't have a label anymore, that's not going to keep him from making new music. He continues, quote, "Now, that being said, there are plans being made to go back into the studio & record new music, the second week of March!" He adds, quote, "With these new songs, we will shop them around Nashville & hopefully find someone who believes in what I do as much as you all do!" Carroll notes he also intends to continue touring throughout the year. Carroll had a four-year run with Arista Nashville, and released his two CDs -- his 2007 debut "Waitin' in the Country" and last year's "Growing Up is Getting Old" -- through the label.
