Report: Tiger Woods Cost Sponsors Up To $12 Billion

Tiger Woods' sponsors have reportedly paid a hefty price to remain at the golf legend's side. E! News is reporting that Woods' highly-publicized infidelities may have cost his sponsors as much as 12-billion-dollars. That staggering figure was reached by two economics professors at the University of California Davis who studied the stock market returns for Woods' sponsors in the 13 days following his Thanksgiving car accident. Nike, EA Sports and Gatorade suffered the biggest hits. Combined, the three companies have reportedly lost approximately six-billion-dollars. Tiger's unfaithful ways have also affected his personal bank account. Management consultancy firm Accenture has completely dropped the superstar athlete, while companies like Gillette and Tag Heuer have reduced their relationship with Woods. The golf star turns 34-years-old today.
