Shoppers Spend The Night In Department Store

A severe snow storm forced more than 100 shoppers to sleep in a British department store recently. The "Daily Telegraph" reports that 54 employees, 30 adults, and 20 children had to sleep at a John Lewis department store in Buckinghamshire. Managing director Deborah Strazza says the heavy snow fall shut down local roads, forcing everyone to remain in the store until the next day. Fortunately, nobody seemed to mind the impromptu sleepover. Strazza states, quote, "It was so sweet, the kids absolutely loved it. They thought they were in 'Toy Story.' The customers were really, really grateful and they could not thank us enough."
