MORE WORKERS EXPECT TO GIVE THAN RECEIVE GIFTS AT WORK
When it comes to exchanging gifts at the office, more workers expect to give than receive. Just over a third of employees taking part in a new OfficeTeam poll say they plan to give their boss a present, and nearly 50-percent intend to give something to a coworker. However, just 29-percent think they'll be getting a present from their supervisor. Roughly a third of those polled believe they'll be receiving a gift from a colleague. Women are more likely to distribute gifts at work, with 41-percent planning to give the boss a present and 58-percent putting co-workers on their gift list. Adults under the age of 35 are the most generous at work, with 50-percent intending to give a gift to their supervisor and 62-percent planning to pass out presents to others on the job.
