The 2003 holiday comedy "Elf" is getting the Broadway treatment. "Paste Magazine" reports that the film which starred Will Ferrell as Buddy, a human adopted and raised by North Pole elves, is becoming a musical. Warner Brothers is producing the show. "Elf" will debut on Broadway next Christmas.In addition to Ferrell, the original film starred James Caan as Buddy's father, Walter; Bob Newhart as Papa Elf; and Edward Asner as Santa Claus.
