Actor Charlie Sheen Arrested, Charged With Assault

Actor Charlie Sheen is free on bond following his arrest on domestic violence charges on Christmas Day. Celebrity website Radar Online reported over the weekend that the "Two And A Half Men" TV star posted an 85-hundred-dollar bond to be released from the Pitkin County Jail in Aspen, Colorado. The charges reportedly stem from an altercation Sheen had with his wife Brooke Mueller. Police in the popular ski resort town say the 44-year old actor was booked on charges of second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies and on a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. The website says Sheen was arrested after he allegedly shoved his wife during a heated argument.

People.com reports that the couple plans to undergo counseling. Sheen also will reportedly seek anger management therapy.
