There are wedding bells in Carrie Underwood's future. The singer's publicist tells E! Online, quote, "I'm happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier." The rep adds that no wedding date has been set yet. The 26-year-old Underwood and 29-year-old Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, have been together for more than a year. They met at one of the former "American Idol" winner's concerts in Toronto in the fall of 2008, and were introduced by mutual friends.Over the past year the pair have been relatively quiet about their relationship, and only recently admitted publicly that they were a couple. Underwood's most prominent acknowledgement of their relationship came via the liner notes of her latest CD, "Play On," which was just released last month.
