SANDWICH TOPS LIST OF THANKSGIVING LEFTOVERS
Recycling the Thanksgiving feast into leftovers is as much a part of the holiday as corn bread and -- for some -- bickering relatives. Americans have multiple uses for the remainder of their big dinner, but the old standby -- turkey sandwiches -- tops the list of favorites. A Food Network online poll reveals a whopping 60-percent of respondents choose the turkey sandwich as their "fav" leftover. Turkey soup follows, with 13-percent of respondents cooking that up after the holiday. Three-percent make mashed potato croquettes and potato soup, while one-percent make cranberry muffins. An easy-to-please five percent of those polled said they like, quote, "all of the above" leftover options, while 14-percent note they do "something else" with their leftover dishes.
