Black Friday Shoppers Get Feisty At A California Wal-Mart
Black Friday shoppers got a bit testy Friday morning at an Upland, California, Wal-Mart. According to the "Los Angeles Times," the store was shut down for a couple of hours after customers began fighting inside. Managers say shoppers began tearing into items that were shrink-wrapped and weren't supposed to be opened until later. Police were called in to deal with unruly patrons. The store had been opened all night. Last year, a tragedy occurred during Black Friday when a Wal-Mart employee in Long Island, New York, was trampled to death as a surging crowd rushed the doors just as the store opened.
