Billy Currington Tapped For Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Billy Currington will show America "how country boys roll" as he rolls along in the 83rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He's scheduled to be among more than eight-thousand participants in the event, which will feature a variety of music and other performances as well as floats, balloons, and Santa Claus. Others artists slated to participate include veteran singer-songwriter Carly Simon, famed tenor Andrea Bocelli, and reggae star Ziggy Marley. Rockers Boys Like Girls, hip-hop/R&B singer Jay Sean, and the casts of the Broadway shows "Billy Elliot," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Hair," and "Shrek" will also entertain the masses. "Today's" Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer, and Al Roker will host "The 83rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade," which will air on NBC Thursday morning, at 9:00 a.m. across all time zones.
