The Judds To Receive CRB Award

(Undated) -- The Judds are getting a new honor. The mother-daughter duo has been tapped as this year's recipient of the Country Radio Broadcasters' Career Achievement Award. CRB President Mike Culotta says Naomi and Wynonna Judd have undoubtedly earned the prize. He explains, quote, "Since their arrival on the country music scene in the early '80s, The Judds have been trailblazers, trendsetters and hit-makers, and they are still entertaining millions of fans around the world with their music." He adds, quote, "Country radio would not be the same without these two fantastic ladies." The Judds will receive their award at the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony. The event will take place in Nashville Tuesday night, in conjunction with the 2011 Country Radio Seminar.
