Easton Corbin Welcomes George Strait Comparisons

(Undated) -- Easton Corbin says he doesn't mind being compared to George Strait. To the contrary, he tells TheBoot.com he considers it "a great honor" to be considered along the same lines as the veteran country superstar, and doesn't see it as something that will hurt him professionally. Any similarities certainly haven't seemed to affect Easton in a negative way yet. Fans embraced his self-titled debut album, which reached the top five on the chart, and his first two singles -- "A Little More Country Than That" and "Roll With It" -- both topped the chart. Corbin himself holds Strait in high regard, adding, quote, "There will never be another George Strait. He's one of a kind; he's a legend."
