Tim Allen Joins ABC Pilot

Comedian Tim Allen is returning to the network that helped make him a star. According to "Entertainment Weekly," the Hollywood funnyman has signed on to star in a new pilot for ABC. The series, which is currently untitled, will revolve around a guy who is battling for his manhood in a world that is being dominated by women. The show will be written by Emmy-winner Jack Burditt, who is said to still be adjusting the script.

Tim Allen rose to fame in the 1990s as the star of ABC's hit show "Home Improvement." The series aired for eight seasons, becoming one of the decade's most-watched sitcoms.
