Thief Steals Motorized Wheelchair From MS Patient

(Portland, ME) -- Police in Maine are searching for a cold-hearted crook who stole a motorized wheelchair from a multiple sclerosis patient. Betsy Smith's chair was recently taken from just outside of her apartment in Maine, but it's not your average wheelchair. It was customer made, complete with big tires to handle the ice and snow. However, one of the tired got stuck outside and she couldn't get into her place so she went inside for help. It was gone by the time she went back outside. Smith says she spent 12-hundred-dollars on it and uses for everything fro walking her do to going to the store. Police are hunting for it but Smith says all she wants is her chair back.
