Stray Bullet Hits Man Sitting On His Couch

A relaxing evening at home turned into a terrifying experience for one Florida resident. WTSP.com is reporting that Jim Freeman was watching TV on Monday night when a stray bullet went through his apartment wall and struck him in the face. The 40-year-old Palm Harbor resident wound up being rushed to the hospital with a bullet lodged in the right side of his face. Doctors say Freeman is fortunate he wasn't killed, adding that they haven't determined if they will risk further damage by trying to remove the bullet from his face. Authorities are still looking for the suspect or suspects, noting that it isn't clear if someone was actually a target of the shooting.
