Report: Rocker Jon Bon Jovi Interested In Share Of Falcons

Jon Bon Jovi is apparently interested in expanding his empire by owning part of an NFL franchise. ESPN says the New Jersey rocker's been in discussions with Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank about buying a 15-percent share of the team, which league sources price at 150-million dollars. The network says both men have acknowledged the talks, and each say there is little reason to think a deal is coming in the near future. This isn't the first time "Jon Bon" has shown interest in owning a sports team. He was the owner of Arena League Football's Philadelphia Soul from 2004-2009.

Bon Jovi recently signed on to one of the bigger Hollywood films in the pipeline. The 48-year-old is part of the cast of "New Year's Eve." Garry Marshall is directing the ensemble movie, which is due in theaters later this year.
