Brad Paisley is among the country stars getting recognition for his road work. The singer's "H2O Tour" is a multiple nominee for the 22nd annual Pollstar Awards. His trek is in the running for Most Creative Tour Package, while his production manager, Kevin Freeman, is nominated for Road Warrior of the Year. Several other artists are vying for honors as well. The George Strait-Reba McEntire-Lee Ann Womack tour is also up for Most Creative Tour Package, while Carrie Underwood's "Play On" trek is one of the hopefuls for Most Creative Stage Production. Taylor Swift's "Fearless 2010 Tour" is a contender for Major Tour of the Year. Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum are both in the running for Best New Touring Artist.
The CMA Music Festival, which takes place each June in Nashville, is also a nominee. The four-day event is up for Music Festival of the Year. Nashville's Ryman Auditorium even has a bid, with a shot at Theater of the Year. The 22nd Annual Pollstar Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.
