Lady Antebellum Among Touring Awards Winners

(Undated) -- Lady Antebellum is off to a strong start with their road career. The trio got the nod for Best New Touring Artist at the Pollstar Touring Awards over the weekend. Lady A began making the transition from opening act to headliner in 2010. In addition to warming up crowds on Tim McGraw's "Southern Voice" tour, the group made their headlining debut at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium with two sold out shows last March. Last fall Lady A embarked on their first headlining tour. The Ryman also earned an award, taking the title of Theater of the Year. Other country-related winners include Coran Capshaw, who was named Personal Manager of the Year. Capshaw's clients include McGraw and Faith Hill. The 22nd annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards took place at the Club Nokia Saturday night. Winners were determined by a vote of those who work in the concert industry.
