Cop Charged With Drunk Driving On Duty

(Burr Oak, MI) -- Nobody is above the law and that includes a southern Michigan police officer who is accused of driving drunk while on duty. Todd Lewis is a part-time police officer for the village of Burr Oak but officials say he was drunk while on the job. The "Sturgis Journal" reports that Lewis drove his police car off the road into a ditch and refused to take all sobriety tests when other officers arrived. He had been a police officer in Flint and had been hired in Burr Oak in April 2010.
