Cookie Manager Shoots At Bird, Hits Employee

There was nothing sweet about the way a manager at a Wisconsin cookie company allegedly treated one of his employees. The "River Falls Journal" is reporting that the man was attempting to shoot a bird that had flown into the building on December 14th when he accidentally shot an employee. The 29-year-old plant manager of Best Maid Cookie reportedly fired bird shot from a rifle, but missed the bird and hit his employee in the back of the head. The employee said it felt like he was stung by a bee, but wound up having to pull a small piece of lead from his head. The manager is now facing a felony charge of injury by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon.
